About Us

We are treasure hunters who love beautiful items with a story. In the Amsterdam neighborhood of De Pijp, we not only own the Kinderfeestwinkel, but a super cute small shop called the MerryXmasShop as well. This shop becomes the most adorable Christmas store in Amsterdam in October, November, and of course, December. Every year in September the MerryXmasShop is fully adorned with 1001 glass Christmas ornaments.

We have Christmas ornaments all year round, but in January, we free up half of the store for French brocante and transform the Christmas shop into Het is Liefde - brocante. From January to mid-September, you can find a wide selection of beautiful French brocante tableware here. Especially during the summer months, we go on a hunt for beautiful items in the northern region of France and, if necessary, refurbish them.
